A white collared teniya gets a stalled car running by listening to the issues over the phone

Some newage car owners fa*rt, s*hit and pollute everywhere offline and online.  There's a self proclaimed multi talented guy who since the past 6+ years claim that he is such a great automobile enchutiast that he can get a stalled car started and/or diagnosed in 5 minutes sitting 2500 kms away just by hearing the issues over the phone! He might consider it an honour if we start addressing him as 'Detroit returned automobile teniya'.  Needless to say that this know-it-all a$$ hails from WB.  It's hilarious that some people believe the lump of sh*it he keeps distributing.  He is not far from reaching 40. He might as well spend time to do what his guardians paid for. In reality they forked out money for buying his qualification (unfortunately, not the education) instead. He is surely not aware of the term '40 And Nowhere To Go'!  P.S: Repost from Indian Roadie. Posted earlier in Indian Roadie on 2022-12-29.  .  .  .  * I Strike Hard When the Iro...

Say No To Led Headlights

Image
Headlights are a frequent topic of discussion in hundreds of car owners groups/ online car brand owners clubs or forums.  Most queries are worded as follows:  "The OE headlights of my car don't glow sufficiently bright after dark. I get blinded by the headlights of oncoming cars/ trucks/ buses. I want to replace the stock bulbs with LED. Please recommend LED bulbs of reputed brands."  .  .  My answer:  * I have been into daylight and night driving well before attaining the legal driving age sitting on my dad's lap. The baby steps in driving a car (1960-61 make Standard Super 10 Deluxe) possibly started in or around 1972-73.  * I bought for myself a Premier Padmini with some financial assistance provided by 'baba' on 1986-08-16 exactly 1 year 4 days after completion of my highly satisfying innings with Castrol India (then, Indrol Lubricants).  * 4 lane roads with median dividers were an alien infrastructure in India till Atal Behari Vajpayee ji's G...

Kolkata is indeed the perfect location for roadies from anywhere in India who would love to embark on an Indian Roadie Drive For Food. Aradhana Chatterjee in her lovely vlog has listed out 14 heritage eateries which have officially received the 'Heritage' tag from INTACH, a project supported by Goodricke tea. The young girl is doing a phenomenal job in vlogging and has become my favourite. Aradhana is flawless in her communication and is so so so natural in her presentations.   https://www.facebook.com/reel/1996302097390666?s=yWDuG2&fs=e&mibextid=Nif5oz  .  .  .  * Foodie Roadie India

Tiger-themed yellow taxi was flagged off at Victoria Memorial in Kolkata  on Friday 2023-07-28  to mark International Tiger Day which was on Saturday 2023-07-29. The taxi was on display at Victoria Memorial till Saturday 2023-07-29 before getting back to the city streets to ferry people.  Like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Kolkata’s iconic yellow Ambassador taxis (and Ambassador cars in general) are also becoming endangered. As a result, a day before the International Tiger Day, a tiger-themed yellow Taxi was flagged off at Victoria Memorial. Also, a panel discussion titled “Tiger Conservation - The Road Ahead” was organised.  Dinanath Shaw, the driver and the owner of the yellow taxi, said he has been driving in the city for the past 12 years. Before that, he was in the school canteen business with his father. After the schools went into the contractual mode of business, they failed to compete with the big names and he became a cabbie.  Also interested in wildlife, S...
