Two youths from Katigora in Silchar lost their lives on the spot after their overspeeding Mahindra Bolero crashed on the newly built Lumding to Haflong highway on 2025-04-20.

A container truck supposedly had a brake failure on the Mumbai bound flank of Pune-Mumbai Expressway, just after the Khopoli Exit which resulted in a 22 vehicle pile up at around 3 pm on Saturday 2025-07-26.
