Why does a timing chain break?

Image
Why does a timing chain break? Some reasons for a timing chain to break: - Regular wear and tear: Over time, the chain stretches and weakens, eventually breaking. - Lack of lubrication: Oil keeps the chain lubricated and reduces friction. Low oil levels or dirty oil can lead to premature wear and breakage. - Worn chain guides or tensioners: These components keep the chain properly aligned and tensioned. Worn guides or tensioners can cause the chain to slap around, increasing wear and tear. - Engine overheating: Extreme heat can weaken the metal in the chain, making it more susceptible to breakage. - Manufacturing defects: In rare cases, a chain may break due to a flaw in the manufacturing process.  .  .  .  * Indian Roadie Knowledge Hub

Pedestrian killed after being hit by car from behind in Malkapur, NH53, MH

The sad and suspicious incident happened in broad daylight on NH53 in Malkapur, Maharashtra in early July 2024. The injured victim lost his life lying unattended besides the road.  Although the car which hit him (almost intentionally) stopped, the driver seems to have got down only to have a cursory look at the victim from a distance before speeding away. No other road user, viz. car or bike stopped to help the grievously injured man  There's no further news if the car driver has been nabbed.  Friends, what do you think happened 🤔  Was the hit intentional, tantamounting to mu*rd*er 🤔  Was the driver busy on his mobile 🤔  Did the driver fall asleep 🤔  Was the driver in an inebriated state 🤔  .  .  .  * Mishap And Calamity
